Danish Pathology Society selects PathoGate.net as their next generation teaching platform
Facing a need to update the existing solution for training resident pathologists, the Danish Pathology Society (DPAS) has selected PathoGate.net as an integrated teaching platform for their specialty courses. DPAS has the responsibility for training residents in all major specialties within anatomic pathology and cytology, and runs 10-15 organ-related courses a year with teachers and participants from all over Denmark. Going forward the digital platform will be used for all specialty courses and support teachers in providing up-to-date teaching and training.
World leading EQA joins PathoGate.net
With an urgent need to standardize the interpretation of PD-L1 in Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC), UK NEQAS ICC & ISH has taken the lead by offering an interpretative External Quality Assessment (EQA) module assessing pathologist’s ability to correctly score a range of clinical representative samples. The module is hosted on the PathoGate.net platform, which has been set up by the UK NEQAS team and a panel of external expert pathologist. The experts have carefully selected a small sample set, which is being assessed by participating international pathologists.
New Workflow for Tissue Microarrays
A new workflow for working with your tissue microarray (TMA) slides is now available at the pathogate.net platform. Start by annotating your TMA slides to label the individual cores you would like to use. Then let the platform split the TMA slides to individual cores. Finally you assign the desired questions to the images and invite people to join your module. It is also possible to add the expected answers to give participants instant feedback when slides have been scored.
Turn your laptop into a Covid safe multi headed microscope
A new instant cast feature has been released to the PathoGate.net platform. This allows for instant, high-quality zoom and pan of digitized slides. With the new feature you can share your images and host a session with as many participants as you like, while you control the view of the participants screens. This enables interactive and high quality image sharing in a Covid safe enviroment.
